After comparing various backboards in the store, the Beast stood out as solid and shook much less than other systems when the ball hit the backboard. I was dreading the assembly after reading the other reviews, but I was able to do it myself in about 4 hours. I echo another commenter, you want deep sockets and a 10-12" socket extender. I missed the comment about using WD40 to join the two poles, that took some effort. The instructions were well-written and all of the nuts and bolts came in separate packages for each step of the installation and were very well-labeled. The backboard easily lowers and raises from 7.5 to 10 feet and can be rolled around without much effort.
