This is plain and simple a great external hard drive. The one and only thing I do not like about it is that it requires power from a wall outlet, which it is impossible to supply a tb hardrive with enough power from the laptop so it was necessary. It runs great. I haven't had any problems. It's quiet. Works with both mac and windows. And it is built with great quality that cannot be compared with other hard drives.
