I got Escort 9500IX Radar Detector and thought it was great. then a friend of mine convinced me the valentine 1 was better. so i sold my escort. bought a valentine one and hated it. yea the valentine 1 has arrows but there were so many false alarms i just turned off the valentine one so it was useless I gave it back to valentine one after 2 weeks. I think it was going off 85% of the time i was driving it was so annoying even on its "most restrictive" setting.

Although i did get a ticket with this detector not all of my settings were turned on (when you get it some settings are default off) which i think is the reason for the detector not going off.
